Congratulations David Spencer!

David is the lucky winner of the"Citizen/Soldier III"custom motorcycle built by Brigitte Bourget at Bourget Bike Works. The bike raffle was part of the festivities for The Better Life Foundation's Annual Charity Show and Silent Auction at Horseshoe Hotel and Casino in Tunica, MS.

David is a Master Sergeant in the Mississippi Army National Guard and is being deployed to Iraq (again) in less than two weeks. Congratulations David! Thank you for your service and return home safely!

I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE IN MEMPHIS FOR US HAVING TO CANCEL OUR SHOW TONIGHT. TRUST ME, WE TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET THERE. WE WERE STUCK ON I 40 FOR THREE HOURS. BY THE GRACE OF GOD WE MANAGED TO GET OFF THE INTERSTATE TO HEAD BACK TO NASHVILLE TO A CHARTER JET. TWO JETS FAILED TO LEAVE THE GROUND. GOD DID NOT WANT US ON A PLANE TONIGHT. WE WILL SEE YOU GUYS VERY SOON. WE LOVE YOU. GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Brigitte Bourget and the Bourget’s Bike Works team is honored to build Citizen/Solider III in conjunction with the Mississippi Army National Guard for the benefit of the Better Life Foundation and on behalf of 3 Doors Down. Citizen/Soldier III marks the sixth bike that Bourget’s has built for the charity and is the third in the Citizen/Solider series sponsored by the Mississippi Army National Guard. Citizen/Soldier III will be a 2010 Low-Blow 250 Chopper with an edgy, old school gangster type style with all the modern touches Bourget’s is famous for. CSIII will be unveiled on April 15, 2010 during Arizona Bike Week atthe Bourget show truck at Westworld in Scottsdale, AZ. Lt. Col. Greg Michel, SGM Eddie Jenkins, Allison Bullock and other fellow guardsmen and women from the MSARNG will be on hand to help with the unveiling and kick off the raffle ticket sales!
